doubting Thomas

Currently listening to: Frou Frou - "Shh"

I missed the first falling of the leaves.
I walked from one building to another, and lo! I saw them-- many redorangeyellowish fragments scattered everywhere! But how? But when? I saw them all.

The first falling of the leaves is beautiful, especially in Oregon-- there are swirls and windance involved. It's something that shares the secret of the quiet of the falling of the sleep. I usually very eagerly await the first falling in every state and embrace it when it comes; but this year, I forgot all about it!

Upon realizing, the first thing that popped to mind was Blur's track "Out of Time:"

'and you've been so busy, lately,
that you haven't found the time
to open up your mind
and watch the world spinning gently out of time'

... and then, all I could do was smile. The world's spinning, gently. The world's spinning, gently, out of time.

And into axistance?
