Death to Econ!
Current mood: simultaneously pleased and not so

School was cancelled again today. Jessica and I were thoroughly displeased and complaining about the stupid buttload of work we had only about three hours to complete last night at about 9 P.M. when Myra so very thoughtfully called me to inform me that "the system" had just called her mom to tell her that school was cancelled (she did this because last week, when school was cancelled, I didn't find out about it until after I got to school).
That was yay, but I still have a crapload to do by Monday. I still did get to sleep, and that was rather lovely even though lately I haven't been able to sleep.
The storm had a relatively strong impact here yesterday. We lost power for about 5-6 hours, and that wasn't cool. It got incredibly stuffy in the house for obvious reasons. And then the power came back.
Otherwise, life rolls on fairly quickly. I've finished one of my college applications since I had to turn it in as part of the college portfolio, and I have done over half of the other.
I got a soggy UGA application in the mail. Some time ago I actually did debate applying due to my linguistics dilemma, but then I realized that I really loathe the school in so many ways and far too much to be able to attend it. So, we'll see how this all turns out...
