Shoo them away, I say! What's with this quintessentially whimsical . . . crap? I'll say-- if I lose the basics, how the scoowampling frying fishsticks am I supposed to clash with enlightenment and help the galaxy?

Have you seened/read Hitchiker's Guide?
It's quite good, quite good, you must know. But quite different from that normal way of thinking. It smells so much like the meaning of meaning, but it's got this cloud of what's... quintessentially whimsical.
