eureka! In a city by the sea
(Currently listening to: Regina Spektor - "Baobabs")
, I have discovered my future.
Yeah?
Yeah! See, here's what's to become of me:
After successfully (maybe even stellarly) surviving Reed College,
I will move to Seattle, Washington
for graduate school, where I will study every day in its absolutely wonderfabulous to infinity and beyond
public library. It is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever encountered, made entirely (well, y'know) of concrete, steel, and glass. The outside walls are nothing but windows. You wouldn't believe the view from the reading room on the 10th floor, the highest floor accessible to public (the 11th is the highest and is reserved for administration). Furthermore, I shall drink healthy amounts of incredibly delicious
(and I mean incredibly delicious) coffee.
Once I have obtained the proper degree, I shall proceed to backpack throughout the world and stay at all sorts of sketchy and not sketchy
hostels, where I will meet all sorts of folk.
That accomplished, I will finally become a devout
fisherwoman on a
boat.
YES!
